10 Out Of 10 Magazine: For readers who may be hearing your name for the first time, who is J-Glenn and what defines your sound?
J-Glenn: I would say that J-Glenn is a resilient, battle-tested warrior of life’s highs and lows, along with maturity that only comes with dealing with and overcoming adversity..

10 Out Of 10 Magazine: Your Punisher series has become a major part of your brand. What originally inspired that concept?
J-Glenn: Honestly, it was inspired by the Marvel Comics hero The Punisher. The similarities I shared with the character, as far as suffering close and tragic loss, helped me redefine my approach to music and brand myself accordingly.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: The Punisher Part 3 has been generating buzz among fans. How does this installment differ from the earlier chapters?
J-Glenn: I would have to say The Punisher Part 3 is what I like to call a mashup of everything that was great about The Punisher and The Punisher Part 2. Its grit, depth, and heart—along with enjoyable listening—definitely made it a fan favorite.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: Do you feel like The Punisher series represents a specific chapter of your life and career?
J-Glenn: Absolutely. It allowed me to tell and speak on the stories that were a part of my life during my 11-year hiatus.

10 Out Of 10 Magazine: You’re now moving into a new era with Trials 2 Triumph. What does that title mean to you personally?
J-Glenn: It really means exactly what it sounds like. I’ve survived my trials and now graduated to my triumph.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: How does this upcoming project differ creatively and emotionally from your previous releases?
J-Glenn: This project is different in terms of subject matter. It’s more about putting out hits and exploring storytelling with a lighter emotional tone. This is definitely a more commercial approach.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: What inspired the track “Bout Ny Business”?
J-Glenn: Simply stating and letting my audience—and new listeners—know that I’ve always been about my business.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: Your song “Down For Mine” centers around loyalty and trust. What message were you hoping listeners would take from it?
J-Glenn: No matter how much I achieve, I’m always going to stay grounded and appreciative of the people who support me.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: “Push to Start” introduced fans to this new phase of your artistry. Why was that the right song to lead this era?
J-Glenn: Because the title and subject matter summed up how I’m coming this time—pushing to start a new agenda and showing how music and hard work have paid off.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: Walk us through your creative process.
J-Glenn: I’ve got my secrets (laughs), but I’ll share this—I always look for beats that speak to me first. From there, I connect a personal experience to it, and that lays out the song.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: How do you decide who to collaborate with?
J-Glenn: I’m very particular. I like working with artists who can complement a song and add another dimension beyond my original vision.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced as an independent artist?
J-Glenn: Money. It’s a challenge to fund a project and then manage what you earn wisely so you can keep building and expanding your brand.

10 Out Of 10 Magazine: How important is your connection with your fans?
J-Glenn: Super important. I built my career off a loyal, almost cult-like following that’s grown into something bigger. That connection is everything.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: What can fans expect after Trials 2 Triumph?
J-Glenn: My plan is to drop a three-part album series, so there’s definitely more music on the way.
10 Out Of 10 Magazine: Where do you see yourself in the next few years?
J-Glenn: Continuing to push my creativity, trying new concepts, and becoming a respected artist among the majors.
